VC not being active ? Guess again. Without the ASE, and with MTA:SA being there, our MTA:VC server still is nr 4 in MTA, and compared to SA:MP would be around place 100, with 26 players max where the competition can hold 100 or more.
VC:MP has even got more activity, but as they are not supported in game-monitor this is almost not noticed.

If GTA:IV will give the possibility to host a server, Argonath will have one. We are not going to die for a long time.

As my opinion,SAMP will not die,but mostly half or atleast 1/3 will move to GTA IV to play MP.In fact,this topic is wrongly named
Name it as: "Do you think that Argonath Samp server will die after GTA IV PC Release",though the topic name means about whole Argonath Project

Doubt SA server will die as GTA IV have no any possibilities for properties and Roleplay... The missions GTA IV is using nowadays in multiplayer: team deathmatch, deathmatch and race...

Argonath will not Die and SAMP too becuz not all can play in GTA IV imean not all player have this:2GB ram/512 Graphic card or Geforce 50500 for that Argonath and SAMP will Still Some few months after GTA IV maybe few years and i hope that

Actually,Yihka,there are also Paruni,which making servers for games such as Cod Or CS,and i think Paruni will create one for GTA:IV

You are talking about imaginary roleplay... But it is nice if at least you have possibility of money moving (send/get)... Without money all roleplay will be /me hands vodka, /me pays money... And thats all... Such roleplay actually is not supported by the majority of players... You should have at least some option which you can use between players...

Well mostly i think they will give some sort of SDK or Scripting functions....as i think they understand that there are also people,who doesn't want stupid DM but also RP.

Don't get me wrong. But I think yes BUT JUST A BIT. Since SA:MP Argonath RPG server is like 100 slots... yeah.

Cause EXACT thing would happen like happened to MTA:VC Argonath RPG, cause since SA:MP Argonath RPG got popular, MTA:VC got REALLY down, but it's good that some players like from Sforza, TeaM, make Argonath Vice City be as much active as it was...

Also, I think with roleplaying will not be really necessary scripts, and stuffs, in GTA IV.
I mean like, if you can roleplay in Roblox for example, where you can't script ALMOST ANYTHING USEFUL, you can roleplay like... great?

Also in Garry's Mod, if you don't have the RRPX/GTARP/Dark RP gamemode, if it's in sandbox AND with a RP map, you can be all "YAY" :P Even tho there's no roleplaying scripts (only one: /me)

if you can enter in buildings and houses and stuff, you can claim out "this house is mine" (i know, its super crap roleplay, but who cares), or "this business/strip club/bar/etc is mine", etc

IMHO

RP started on MTA:VC with just that, imaginary play without scripts. Having things like money handed for real improved play.
So yes, it is possible to do without any scripts, but for most people it will be hard.

Looking at recent commercial, I think the multiplayer of GTA IV as it is now is not a success, we will have to see what they bring for the PC version.
