Can't hear people clearly in TS server

Hey there,

Well, so, since I started using argonath TS server constantly, since first use i wasnt being able to hear people clearly, I'll try to explain:

There's an interference sound, when someone says a medium/long sentence, in some parts of it there's a 1/2-sec interference muting, like in-game lagging.

" Hey there John, how bla bla bla bla *interference sound, like 1 2 secs* bla bla bla *few more interference sounds* "

I think that it's because of my connection, and because I live away from the server host, because I can clearly hear other sounds like GTA single player sounds and my musics, etc.

go here www.speedtest.net choose somewhere in Germany as that's where the server is located.


tell me the ping you get, and everything else of course.

I tested with Frankfurt, here's the results:

D/L: 219kb/s
U/L: 100kb/s
Ping: 349 ms
Distance: app. 5850 mi

The reason you're lagging, and can't hear anybody correctly is all highlighted in Bold.
Your connection isn't fast enough to connect to the TS server fast enough, and do all the other crap you're doing that's using the connection.

Maybe I'm wrong, who knows.

your ping is extremely high for this server, it's lag that's causing you not to hear them properly, your connection is also very slow, i advise upgrading your internet if you want to hear them properly.

hayden his speed + distance is oke... im ~1000km from server, and i used to play it with 256/64 adsl
