Yeh.. bought GTA IV, installed it, tried to play, failed. It says all the time that it cannot connect to Social Club. My internet is working fine, and I can login to Social Club on internet. I even needed to do activation manually, which I did and I succesfully registered the game and all. I also downlaoded the offline-installer to get that extra file so the game would work. But still not.. Now I'm trying to add the LIVE-ID thingys in internet, but I can't do it either. Whenever I try to log in to my hotmail account, to add the LIVE-ID, it logs in, and there comes a page of Social Club saying:
Live Account Linking
A LIVE Gamertag was not found with the current Live ID. Please press the button below to sign out and then sign back in again with a different Live ID.
And I don't have other live id. And I don't know WTF I'm suppose to do. I'm pissed off since I bought and now I can't even f**king play it. Please help.
Edit: Problem solved, though it took like 3 hours to read Rockstars instructions.. -_-
