I need some help, I am going to be upgrading a PC of mine, and I just need some info on somethings.

http://support.packardbell.com/uk/item/index.php?i=spec_denver10&ppn=PB80128501 = Link to my motherboard.

http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=227839 = To my new Graphics Card.

http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=221194 = PSU which should probably fit with it all.

I need someone to tell me whether this graphics card is compatible with my PC, and anything else I will need with it..

:ps: I'll open up my PC later, so I can find out the wattage of the PSU, will update this topic once I done so..

Well, if motherboard supports PCI Express 2.0, then it can be inserted.
And don't forget to check power supply too, maybe it is too weak:)

Video

    * NVIDIA GeForce 7050
    * Maximum video memory in BIOS is 256 MB shared
    * Total maximum video memory 1579 MB using TurboCache

If those 2 last lines are for current videocard, then no problems.
If to any graphics card, what is inserted, then it won't work, cause BIOS allowed 256MB.

Janar you are so terribly wrong.. that card will work.. that what you read was the onboard graphics power.. if he puts that new card in his PC it will work.. perfectly.. and will run full power...  ;)   that 9500GT will need more than a 460Watts PSU btw... so as long as your PSU is more it will work like a dream  ;)

I'm not using the card for gaming, or anything, just for use. I have a XFX GTX 280 overclocked if I want to be gaming, on my other PC, Wayne.

thanks MadBoi, I've found a PSU, it has 450 Watts, all the sites I have also looked at to try and find out it's power requirements, say that it requires 350W.

http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=221194 = the PSU

I didn't build this PC, this was pre-built. I'm only upgrading the GPU, right now, because I don't really like the current, GeForce 7050.. lol.

If you aren't any kinda fanboy, I suggest you to take ATI Radeon HD 3450, as it runs even Crysis at medium (as you said you play games on other PC).
MotherBoard: Abit IP35 as it IS cheap and good mobo.
I suggest to get 500W PSU (because I'm sure you NEED to upgrade your PC SOON unless if you don't buy PC which costs over 600€).

I'm getting AMD Athlon 64 X2 7750BE.
I already have ASRock ALiveXFire eSATA-II / 2x ATI HD 3450 (in CrossFire) / 350W PSU..... :( / 3 Gb DDR2 RAM.
Every game runs smoothly with those components.

I really suggest to get 500W+ PSU

Sigh..

I'm NOT building a PC, this is NOT a gaming PC which I am upgrading.. I am keeping everything the same apart from the upgrade on the card.. I have a gaming PC, which owns everything you told me above.
