Just a reminder..

Dont u remember back in the days, where u all say it was so good, the RESPECT the players had to eachother, how the players had respect to admins, listened, learned, and it was a good atmosphere in the server and forum.

New players never experienced it, thats sad, becouse this is not far of how that was.

This is not a complaint, whine or something, just a reminder, and a tip.

Do u want these times back? Then start to change yourself, small steps, with first learning what respect is.
Of course, we have always had Flamers and players that disrespect in the server, but the community was strong, and broke their nose so they ran home to mommy and cried.
What does the community do now ? It flames back and just the same thing back.

Lets take for an example, thats also not good, a player says in mainchat:

Player (1): Fuck "adminname" What a fucking cunt

Admin (2) Bans Player (1) for: Fuck you too asshole! 

Its not only the players. And i know, u cant do anything as it was before, live on, and beat the challenges.
 
How can we, all together fix the problem in ArgonathRPG SA:MP section ?

Start respecting eachother, EVERYONE, when u wanna type that flame to the player, IGNORE pressing the ENTER button, just delete the text and type /Q instead or turn around in the chair and wait for about 20 seconds.

Back in 0.2.1, i remember when i took passport test. One question was, "What is the most important rule in ArgonathRPG?"

The answer was, "RESPECT ALL PLAYERS", now i get why. A community is not stable, if u got no respect in it. But sure, u maybe respect some, ur friends, those u like. But please, if ur gonna say something bad, please think again and dont.

So please, everyone, help us change, get better, get strong.

as u all might remember i used to be someone who reacted really hard at things,
i changed it, sometimes i cant leave discussion, but most of things i have changed it,
i respect everyone, untill they do really stupid things,
which not much players really did(only 2 so far)

personally i dont know those respect times, although i play for a year now,
or you guys just show it much better then it really is,
but all i can say:

you guys freaking blow this things up, it isnt that bad ingame,
you all act like everyone is flaming all the time, every minute you got a flamer again,
which isnt true at all, all players are nice together,
99% of the time nothing happens

how to fix?
start by yourself, dont blow this up like its a 3rd world war

im kinda getting annoyed with all those messages of:
SAMP sucks!!! all they do is flaming!!!!all they do is disrespecting!!!
flaming, yes not much though, all other things are just nothing

we got a great community out there, with enough respect, and almost no flaming or whatever

Bia, he said no one follows this rule, wich no one does, it's a good rule, but isn't being followed, at all.

Besides, back in the "good days" people where afraid of the mob / gangs etc... now everyone's just afraid of the admins :-/

NOBODY should be afraid of admins...unless they really have something to be afraid about, in which case they are rulebreaking.

I want what Abraham talks about, gangs and organizations don't get respected any more. I remember when I first came to Argonath, joining ALS was a massive boost for me. I almost felt that I was now slightly better off with them and it felt nice to be in a roleplay group...

Also I feared people like Corleones, Stracci, but especially Araatus...


However, nowadays it's easier to get into groups, and a lot of the time you get people who are rulebreakers entering. No respect any more for groups!

As for the "one unban" rule, I remember when it was still enforced, how worried I was that I would somehow mess up in some way (like I always do) and somehow get banned. I actually believed that if I got banned, I would be banned one more time and that would be IT for me!

As for players respecting admins, I feel admins should respect players in the same way that players respect admins. That's why admins should NEVER flame people (which is hard for me to say as I've seen many admins flame players recently). Admins have no higher status socially on server, we're just there to make sure everyone can roleplay in a nice environment. Earning respect from players is easy, we keep the server clean and tidy. However administration loses a lot of respect when there is some sort of fight, either betweeen two players or between an admin and a player. Instead of saying "drop it already", some admins feel the need to fight back and a lot of the time resort to flaming and using admin commands against the player!

I, like many other admins apologize for this. I hope my attitude towards other players never goes down to this level. These admins that do this are the reason that players don't take us seriously. They see us as being completely childish, when some of us are trying to do a good job!

I remember when I first came to the server I respected the admins because they helped me a lot. I remember when I was trying to buy my first car, the dealership listed on the website didn't work, so I asked an admin for help (can't remember who). He teleported to me, got into my car as the driver, drove to all of the dealerships one by one until we found the correct one! How nice is that? He used his time to help a player in need of help!

This hardly happens now...a lot of admins don't have the time or patience to help new players, which is a big problem as the amount of respect for admins is on a decrease and obviously something is being done wrong.

Respect for admins does not mean "let's worship them! They have power!". It means "hey, they are pretty helpful and friendly, let's treat them nicely!".

I hope everyone who reads this absorbs some sort of message, I myself am trying to be a better admin...
