Why the Wii is considered "sucky" to some

Red Steel was a major disappointment. It sucked bad, man.
Super Monkey Ball was also complete shite.

I traded my Wii for an Xbox 360 with a family member, because they were always using the Wii and I the Xbox.

If you like the Wii, great! I used to love it. But the novelty quickly wore off, and I went for the Xbox instead. Although, to be honest, I still always favour PC.

If you like the idea of the Wii, then try it out. It can be really fun. But if you're into slightly less "Wii-like" games, get an Xbox 360.

  Ehmm i guess that many ppl many ppl consider Wii " sucky " cuz he doesent have the graphics of an Xbox360 or Playstation 3 ! But still i like the Wii  its a funny console and more funny to play with friends !

Simpely because the Wii takes more the attention for Casual Gamers then Hardcore gamers.

In the TV Ads I see, the Wii gets showed like a cool thing with Wii Fit, the internet features and etc. The first time I tried it, the control does not work comfortable for me.

The wii get sold like a Casual Game control, the Wii just cannot give hardcore gamers want. For example:

This does look very diffrent then the other console's versions. 1 good side of this is that you not need to ride in the shining sun.

PS2 looses, but that is not the newest next-gen, so take that out..

Xbox 360 clearly wins, because of the details and the good graphics, Wii just cannot give it because of their hardware which is a optimized PS2.






No, I not say Wii sucks, I not say I hate Wii. I like the Wii to use it, but not to own it. In my eyes, a waste of money just because a PC is alot better to have, or atleast to have a PS3 if you want quite good games to play.
The Wii also not gives games I like, games like quizes isn't my thing, and with the WiiMote thing to control the questions just sucks for me. You can also do fun games like mini-games, but it is only fun for a booring weekend... but is that your money worth? I more want games like GTA IV, Counter Strike, mirror's edge, FIFA, Half-Life, Portal or other games like that with a great online feature which you can play for months. Wii does not have it, Wii does not have games like that to offer for me. (yes, some are, but still)


Nintendo released the Wii too early, the game devolpers or Nintendo can hardly give what people like me wants, and that is why many people say things like that the Wii sucks.

Yes. I'm sure they did. My TV has the whole color thing modified and it is running the Wii at 1080p (up convert). But, I set it up when it was running at 480p then I looked at it in 576p (PAL) then switched to 720p (Very Good!), then 1080i, and finally, 1080p. It pwns. My current audio setup is a Phillips amp with 6 speakers. All modified at an specific Decibel volume, and timing. So, playing any Dolby Pro logic Game on it sounds like watching a Blu Ray. My current settings on my tv are
Sharpness 4 and sometimes 6 out of 7.
Color 65 out of 100
Tint Neutral (my TV has color correction and Progressive Scan filter)
Brightness at 45 out of 100
Contrast 33 out of 100
The Color Backlight at 100
The Color Temp. is
Blue 150
Green 145
Red 150.

Yes, but still.. Technicly the Wii cannot give the quality Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 gives in whatever TV you look...

Also beceause the developers of the Wii (Nintendo) Didn't made it for amazing graphics and go conquer with Xbox360 and Playstation 3..
They wanted to create something complete different, wich the wii is, after all.

But they forgot to focus to the people who made them big, the hardcore gamers...

they still have the nintendo games so the gamers that made them big are still there with the wii, nintendo just made the wii for everyone also for hardcore (nintendo) gamers but if you want a xbox360 or ps3 go ahead no-one will stop you the wii is just better in so many ways

To be quite honest I do not like Wii much, but the thing that I like with Wii that they made something new instead of new consoles such as PS3, xbox and more if you get my idea. I think the main thing for Wii is that the console is for everyone also for the moms and fathers and more. They made something new and diffrent and that I like.

I see Wii as a "fun" console, if you know what I mean. Something you play for a couple of minutes to relax. (Well not with Wii fit maybe) Not like some crazy Halo fan that plays his sexbox 22 hours a day superserialy.
