The thing that ruins Argonath...

This isn't an attack on Argonath... Just an opinion...

I've been playing today for about 1 hour. In that 1 hour I've been suspected of doing stuff like ''running too fast'', and shot on the spot by about 10 officers - even after explaining what happened. They just ignored me and shot me, not even asking to surrender.

This didn't just happen today, it happenes every day - to me and I'm sure others. If a cop jails someone, they get double the money that they get from killing them. To prevent cops doing this I think we need some drastic measures put in place. I don't expect everyone to agree with me, but I hope this can be implemented:

Cops can ONLY get money from killing someone if they have commited murder, if the suspect hasn't - they LOSE $100. This encourages use of the /crime command.

Cops that jail a regular offender get the usual $1000, but jailing a muder suspect gets $2000.

Anyone agree? This could lower the amount of people complaining about corrupt cops (including me!)

exualy i think they have to do something like POLICE LICENSE or something like pass to buy a house or biz but it will be a cop bedge... those guys who are done ARPD training gots POLICE BEDGE so they can take cop skin.. so there will be no abusing

I agree that the problem need to fix and what i hate is:
if i am a cop and i got a suspect and i go to jail him, then i see 10 cops waiting on me and if i go in police dep. than another cop
steal my suspect and if i PM admin, they don't give a response.

It is hard to do it right. If admins check mainly for hackers and cheaters, players complain about corrupt cops and deathmatching criminals.
If admins look to rulebreakers... I was banned for killing someone.
Main thing is that not enough players take time to explain new players how to play. Only if admins start kicking, or after some days, they start to understand. If you see a new guy who does not know the rules, try to take him with you and show how to play.

I don't really think it's a case of misunderstanding. 99% of the time it's for the money. I don't think many people care about the $1000 they get for jailing people, they can just kill two criminals in half the time.

Yea, I'vew tried explaining a few times. Never works. Its about  :money: :money: :money: :money: :money: :money: :money: :money: I once stole a car and was suspected for Grand Theft Auto. Somewhere near area 69 a patrol car of 4 police came out, I crouched down. They all shot and walked off. They alwayss ignore, and when I was a cop, yes, my suspects were always stolen when I was jailing them. Which is another reason why cops do this, they want the money first.

Exactly. I don't understand why we can't implement a system that works, like Domes.
