Bad News from me.

Hello guys, as you all might now, I already told it before, I ain't doing so perfect at school.
My last report was very bad, my parents said: Improve yourself or we take stronger actions.
I was doing my best a little bit, not enough.
Yesterday I got my 2nd report, my dad turned crazy cause it was still bad.
He told me that it was the last time, and that I did it really wrong now.
He said: You will not come on the PC much, before you get a better report.
I have to work very hard now, really hard, I cannot visit Argonath so much this coming months, altough I will try it.

I have to say this like Magnus: I think I am not normal, not pathetic, not insane, but just not normal.
I am only 12, doing things I don't have to do.
I believe in god, I pray for good things to happen which never do.
I am having a very bad time, cannot explain it otherwise.
Really thanks to the people that support me, stand me by and help.
I will not leave, I will maybe play only 15 minutes a day now.
Maybe longer, maybe shorter, I don't know.
Things have changed in my life, I was a brave boy, now I'm a bad guy.
I'm going the wrong way, my dream is to become famous with my band, which will never happen cause my parents don't even give me the chance for it.
Hope you all understand me.

Davey, your dream is to get famous with your band and you say you have no chance for that. Well you will not stay with your parents forever. Wait for a couple of years or so, maybe less maybe more you'll get your chance.

Its also kinda nice to take a more or less brake from argonath, like im doing now its funnier to play when you have your back free from troubles and dont have to worry about that. anyway i wish you GL with school and hope to cya soon

Too late, some musicians/bands are active 20 years before they get their recognition and it is never too late. Do you want to do it for the fame and the greed and the fake, or you want to express yourself through music?

Hi Davey take this from an 'old guy'.

Life is going to suck for a couple of years, thet is .... if you let it be. You are growing up and want more independence, the right to follow your ideas and choose your own way. Now that is not bad at all, but you should understand that your parents are their to set your limits of what they feel you can handle and for what things you still need to wait a bit. Sometimes they will allow you to make mistakes, sometimes you will fight them for not allowing you the freedom you want.
But never think that they are 'stupid', 'know nothing' or 'are against you'. In a couple of years you will look back and understand your parents, then do with your children what you promised 'never to do'. So take their advise, put school first , the band second and if there is some time left come on server.
You do not need to get famous by the time you are 16 or 18. Some guys first get a good education, then use it not to get ripped off by managers and record companies. What you need is dedication, a little talent and a lot of luck.

Your parents love you and always try to do the best for you.
Sometimes you won't understand it, sometimes they will be wrong, but things happen, you just have to swallow it and fight for your goals. Sometimes patience is the key, sometimes - not.

At this moment, in my opinion, you should improve your school and study, as studying is a kind of an investment. Good luck with your studies and hope we will see you back soon enough.
Remember to visit us sometimes and inform how things are going.
