Cops vs Criminals RS4

Well it seems there a load of assholes who cannot see what actually happened in Rs4 so heres a breakdown of what I scripted to work on BOTH sides.


:cop: COPS

1. We lost the 100 rounds of double weilding Mac10 (Micro-SMG ?) - Removed due to mass criminal complaints

2. Now issued with 30 rounds of MP5 (SMG) - NOT restricted as was the Mac10.

3. Ability for SAPD command to issue heavy weapons and armour free if required from a PD, this is RESTRICTED to COMMAND staff and MOST cops will not benefit from this unless the criminals are killing mass numbers.

4. SWAT and FBI can equip from police vehicle stores, reflects RL weapon cabinets that are in many police vehicles.
(SWAT accounts show regular costs of 100k in weapons a 1 month under Rs3, I paid for much of this myself until I got a higher admin level, all was accounted!)

5. Cops receive $1000 fine for EVERY non suspect they kill.

6. Cops receive $1500 fine if they kill a cop.

7. Cops can be give the ability to go undercover, this is restricted to command staff and is for investigations.

8. Cops got a new easier menu to be able to go on duty, with all skins activated.

9. Cops got system built that means they can be banned from being a cop..

10. Cheap fuel at all gas stations for cops removed, only PDs now have cheap fuel for cops.

11. Cops got a series of shortcut commands to allow us to shout surrender etc without loosing 1-2 seconds and getting killing by criminals who will instantly complain if we did not ask them to surrender.

12. Cops get a chance to call on heavy air support in the form of a Hydra or Hunter. These are primarily for deployment against air units or in fast chases, or large groups where standard procedures have failed.  Threat is primary aim, if you want to attack either then expect a response !  So far I have had mixed success, but the disabling of vehicles that we cannot catch has helped to force criminals on foot so that normal methods can then be used.

13. When you go on duty you get to keep SOME weapons you had before you went on duty, but not the double handed weapons..

14. When you go OFF duty you get your pre duty weaposn returned, but EVERYTHING you paid for while on duty is GONE with NO-REIMBURSEMENT.

15. A number of Police bikes that got badly spawned in RS3 got turned into SWAT and LV Pursuit vehicles, we gained just 1 helicopter, but rest of server got about 150 vehicles!

16. Cops do not pay to enter a business if a criminal is inside, this was introdcued to stop criminals running into own business and settign fee at 2k to make cops pay just to chase them.  This feature will not matter once all fees are abolished.


:war: Non-Cops

1. You get your weapons back if you get killed when NOT suspected

2. You loose less money if jailed than killed now, and get to keep your weapons too.

3. Giveweapon was added with primary aimt o allow sharing of weapons, criminals gain more from this as police have a number of blocks built in.

4. New weapon prices adjusted after a MASS complaint from criminals

5. New Weapon/Ammo system introduced to encourage the criminal activitiy of illegal arms dealing.

6. Abilty to escape, and if suspected by typed command thats less than 10 minutes.  This is working cops are loosing LOTS of criminals this way

7. Ability to enter locked premises (picklock)

8. Ability to even go inside them... (rules change)

9. Weapons allowed inside interiors now, mainly to allow RP to take place inside between cops and crims, but also other activities.

10. New weed system with positive affects, but wont be noticed if at full health.

11. 8 new locations to get weed from....

12. New drugs system with positive affects, but wont be noticed if at full health.

13. 9 new locations to get drugs from....

14. Faster cars added against aadvice from server owners as known to be able to outrun cops too easily.  My view SAPD will have to learn new tactics.


What I did not do...

I did NOT give every cop armour, in fact if you see a low level cop with armour, chances are they paid for it JUST like the rest.

Only SWAT starts with more then Desert Eagle and SMG, anything else is likely paid for.. (unless your FBI, and they have already punished members due to own rules they setup on abuse of the weaponequip system).

Cops can still NOT repair marked cops vehicles.

I did not intially restrict use of /buy and /heal as criminals believeing players would play fair.. current change is short term fix.

Me, as a criminal, dont see whats the problem with all of rules/comands that CBF made, why some people need to complain and moan, just stop it , start playing, if you are a good criminal as you said, none of this woud be a problem for you, not to mention that the rules are equal, and in my point none side have more advantege...

I don't think any side should have double-wielded smgs, all should use the mp5, I haven't seen anybody using sawnoffs in ages though.

The problem with most players is that they weren't present for alpha testing (and some people not even for beta testing) and don't know all the changes...


Sorry I didn't add EVERY SINGLE change to my guide, but hopefully this helps people to understand that things are now more or less equal!
