Modification(s) problem
I do have a backup folder with everything original. It means it contains no sort of modifications or add-Ons or such.
But the other folder I have contains modifications(mostly skins for pedestrians or cars). I want to play with the
folder that contains no extra. When I choose that folder as default on the SA:MP Client,
it can connect to the game with the folder, but after a while, the computer stops. I have to restart the computer to have access to anything else.
But when I enter again, the computer stops, then I have to restart again.
The computer doesn't get warm or anything, and as far as I know, there aren't any corrupt files or any sort of fileproblem inside the folder. I'm currently running via the modification filled folder, but I want things clean.
I don't have the installation file left though. Maybe I have to get it back and re-install?

Crash problem
Yes, I usually crash a lot. Or, as I call "crash". I know how a real crash looks like, but after something I did, it doesn't show the fault and "report to SA:MP" window. It leads to a "Send report" "Don't send anything" or whatever to say.
And it crashes a lot. It shouldn't crash that often. It started when RS4 came out though...doesn't crash like it on any other servers. I tried to change .exe file but that didn't do anything. Maybe it helps if I re-install?
I mean, as it fixes alot of undetected "corrupt" files, it might fix it? Or any other help perhaps?

Fixed.

It's probably problem of RS4 scripts, people crash more than normally in RS3.
If you crash on login screen, just after "Connected to Argonath RPG", then its problem of your mods - solution: remove all installed mods (cars, skins etc).

I removed all modifications and skinpacks, it was clean.
I tried it out, it worked.

NOW, when I tried to enter again. It all "hanged up" and I had to minimize it and quit via CTRL, ALT, Delete.
I don't have the other folder with the modifications left. So...any new solutions?

How did you remove them? Did you uninstall them (took reverse steps of installing the mod/restored from backup files)
or did you reinstall the whole game?

The second option is generally better, though takes more time.

The problem is fixed by re-install. Both problems actually, now it crashes as it should and doesn't "hang up".
