Generally speaking, I only listen to music if it can reflect what I'm doing, my mindset and my mood in general. Right now, I'm generally into modern rock and in particular, alternative, metal and screamo (before this, I was listening to house and funk). Although the situation wasn't the same in the past (due to having a different state of mind), I haven't found any other music that better reflects my average mood around this particular time then rock (especially screamo) and I definitely wouldn't get it from old music (not hard enough) or what we got going in modern hip hop (my mood is in no way reflected by slapping the bad guyes and f*cking the hoes and IMO, other then the lyrics, the music sounds wierd). I do like old school hip hop like NWA, but I don't listen to it at the moment. Although comparing some old school rock with some modern rock, you could realise that they're equally hard, but in a different style. I generally only listen to a particular style at one time. Yeah, I'm using these terms loosely because it's hard to explain why I like what music I like. D:

Some of the music that I'm into at the moment:

Fall Out Boy - The Take Over The Breaks Over

The Used - Sick Hearts

Underoath - A Fault Line, A Fault Of Mine

Acidman - Suisha
