Games lag after format

My computer has started get stuck and so, so i decided to make format C: on my computer. Before it, all my games ran fine on full graphics, no lag at all.
After format, i had my games on other partition, so i installed all drivers and tried to play.
Almost all games were lagging on full graphics. I lowered graphics to medium - still lagging.
Now i play GTA:SA on medium graphics, with some lag.
Euro Truck Simulator is running on min graphics with lag.
I don't understand this problem.

what OS are you on now?? it could be a problem with it.. im having that issue with Windows 7 for some reason..
Have you updated your graphics drivers, DirectX, and all other important drivers, including motherboard drivers and others..??

From XP to XP.
Installed newest nVidia graphics drivers, all drivers i had on discs, were installed.
DirectX was also installed.
I have nVidia GeForce 7300GT.

i had some issues with the latest Nvidia drivers for some reason or other...  try install your graphics card drivers from your CD you got with the card... i hate the latest updates.. they cause issues

It was same.
I uninstalled CD drivers also then, installed newest ones, still same!!
