where to get SA-MP at? and installation

ok i just gt SA and i want to play it online with you guys, like MTAVC, someone told me that its not MTA:SA but w/e
watti told me to go 2 www.sa-mp.com and egt it
so i go there/downloads then i click on "SA:MP 0.1b Client"
then i tried the two there and im lost from there casuse i dl'd the two and the one from lilwhitey when i clicked on the deskltop icon it started giving me error window that i culdnet read and they never stoped appearing, i couldent evene click them off, and the other one, idk what to do.
this isnt that user friendly like MTAVC is

there is a fix for the sa-mp.exe, look for it on www.sa-mp.com

ok, there's two of them, the bottom one seems corrupt cause it gave me infinitle error windows that wouldent stop coming.
so the first one
i click it and it brings me to GTAgarage.com and i see
0.1b windows server
and
0.1b client
i click on the second
"the file is invaid or corrupt"
ill try the other i DL the file and it brings me to the files, i extract the files, and i see that it's a server i think.
i'd rather not host a server, i like arganoth's servers
