Server shutdown due to technical errors

As the title says, we are experiencing some technical difficulties due to some faults in a script which was changed today in the hope to reduce crashes

The faults are causing serious problems and so the server has been shut down...

CBFASI is working to fix the faults and get the server running soon, please relax and wait until he is done

The problem which occured did bad things, such as giving people admin rights for no reason which is of course a big issue and had to be sorted as soon as possible, during this time the server had to be shut down

Indeed, the problem has been solved. The problem is that this update may cause other problems and if it does, the server may be taken down, so although this problem is fixed the topic should stay to inform people that this may happen and everything is under control

I must aplogize to alll for this, I had run a number of tests on the scripts, but had left out some critical tests.

Result was I had to roll back the scripts, which as it turned out was not so easy as one of the source files had a fault when it was uploaded and I had to find an alternative file and recompile.

They are back to what they where before the attempted update.

As it turns out the causes I believe have been identified and uploaded to the alpha server, where I will be selecting a few to test before I try and go near the main.
The update reduces user file access and may or may not have an afffect, until its on the live server we cannot know if this will actually reduce crashes but if it does then this will hopefully lead to being able to sort most of the crashing out..

Not sure if anyone reported problems with the police rights, although there was a colour issue with name tags

Like I said, I think someone said that there was a problem with the name colours...so freecops may have LOOKED look they were in ARPD

someone gave the whole server FBI director rights on purpose, just to cause a riot - he failed.
