Frets on Fire Mega Lag

Hello, I wanted to play some Frets on Fire (Freeware version of Guitar Hero for PC) and it MEGA LAGS on my computer, it used to work, could it be because I got Windows 7, it worked fine on WinXP :S

Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5000+ (2,6Ghz)
Nvidia Geforce 8500GT
3GB of RAM

If you are sure your Graphics drivers are correctly installed then the only thing i can think of is it being Incompatable.

Try running it on a Windows XP SP3 Compatability or Vista and see how it does.
Its defenately not the PC lagging.

i had same problem (on win XP), try to put new gfx drivers
btw, game is awesome:D

New graphics drivers indeed helped, looked like I had accidently downloaded 7000-series drivers instead of 8000-series.
