I have a laptop but I use a computer/desktop monitor, so how do I check my video driver?

If you have HP you could check it through their website.
They have a service that will update and download all the drivers for the computer.

if you dont know the model you can try this http://www.devicedoctor.com/ is a freeware software which scans your  hardware and gives you the latest drivers.

Start by saying what sort of laptop is it. Or you could always go into 'My Computer', Right mouse button on an empty space and press properties. Then it would say what it is.
