Battlefield 2 DEMO. It has a 16-32 player map, Gulf of Oman but more can be installed. Also the MP works without needing an original copy, and you can download the demo for free here. Also a server can be easily set up for it.

I prefer playing the DEMO. And If I wanted the full game I'd download it.

I played on the SACS server but I deleted the game.
As I was surfing around the web, I stumbled upon some fellas that STILL play it. Although I hate when I get a random troll assigned on co-op and he kills me/suspects and the hostages 

I am downloading the game again. Will PM you when I'm ready to play.

I think Bad Company 2 is just as BF2, tho the lack of large maps and air support. Liked the both.

Multiplayer sucks, some "hardcore" players ruin the fun for newcomers and other average players, Raping the laying down button and jump, lamest bunnyhop of all games i ever seen....
