 hi guys..

was an earthquake in new zealand today, totally wrecking Christchurch... i have family that lives down there and im a little worried so i'm posting here to get it off my chest :\

My family are all ok
a friend of mine lost someone close to them though..

My father had some sort of meeting via skype with peeps in New Zealand, just a couple hours before the earthquake.

I'm sorry for all those who lost any family members, or friends.

The thing that astonish me most is that the old catedral got taken with the earthquake too. Things like that can not be replaced, not even with a lot of money.

we were just lucky that there was a class of doctors from melbourne  having a course there.... the chances huh?

yea thats the main part of christchurch ... and now its gone, they will have to rebuild it as a memorial probably

Situations like these are horrible, but unavoidable in most cases. I do indeed hope your family down there is safe and has no problems, and the same for all others who were victims of the quake.
