Suspecting without reason.

Lately there  has been lot of suspecting without reason. The person who suspects u is either not even near you or he puts random reason. If i notify admins they wont believe me unless i m with them. I think it's and issue. Yesterday i was suspected multiple times with no reason what so ever. I was in alderny prison, checking it out with friends and then suddenly i was suspected for crazy driving.... Thats only one example and luckily an admin was there with me and saw i m not even in car and unsuspected me. I hope someone solves this problem.

I understand your concern. The present admin should have checked the suspecting officer's distance and view his/yours story.

If you had friends nearby, you should have PMed an administrator and report all your friends present, as witnesses. The administrator obligation is to cancel your suspect, then.
In the future, we should have a limited perimeter of suspecting. So for example, if you are 450meters away from an officer, and he tries to suspect you, he wouldn't be able, as he would get a message "You cannot suspect a player that far"

I was there with martin, clint and I called Twenty with the reason that they were DMing, 4cops randomly came and started shooting at us and were NOT suspects so she did away with them.

I m almost pleased with that. Just that admins will not unsus you. Clint was suspected for no reason , we were all there and said he didnt do what the suspecting reason said. But admins didnt unsus him. So the problem is random suspecting(Which you said will be fixed), but the problem with unsuspecting still remains. There like 60-70% change you get unsuspected if you are wrongly accused. Thats not enough in my opinion.

Yeah it was that that i died, coz of cop killed me, so i spawned and suddenly Carloin sus me for shootin to cop -_- I was asking admins for unsus, gave them reason, and i was waiting an hour while they unsus me.

Suspecting for a no reason/random reason can be reduced by disable suspecting from long distances thing. So the officer have to be near the person to suspect him..

It is logical that the officer starts typing the command right after the suspect attempts to kill him. In that case, he can suspect him. When the perimeter limit decreases, you will have to call in a police code, in this case, "Code 30 = Officer down". Which will alert all units on the suspect. (Note that the suspect gets automatically wanted level after a murder).

Actually if you kill someone [A cop or a citizen] you will be automatically suspected.

With the current version of IV:MP, it is impossible to create a command that would show you which weapons a certain player has. Therefore, it's very hard for admin to check if said player has weapons or not. And our trust has been abused in the past, so we've become a little more careful with trusting everyone on his words.

I think that everything depends on good and respectful cop. The distance limit won't help so much for decreasing of abuses. Maybe when LCPD raise and more officers are tested and proved for that job the suspect command can be forbidden and removed for freecops. Then the abusing will stop.

Hello there, /su abuse is very common for some reasons. I am a regular from SAMP and I know it because SOME regulars/veterans always write things that the new players don't understand so good.

New player: How do I earn money?
Regular/veteran: Go on cop duty.

They don't tell them nothing about the rules or where to read them and there the thing starts.

So in the future should you PM them instead and talk to them and maybe teach them and everything will be fine.
