Overheating and more than likely burning plastic or the dust itself.

Open the case and clean out the CPU Heat-sync as well as the Graphics card fan, if it has one.

I think the problem might be solved, cleaned it all out...
Lots of dust inside, cleaned and the smell has gone. :)

You computer is over heating, put it in a cooler place, or speed up the fans.
