Lag problem ... :(

My third PC this month, yeah LOL... When I look at cars it lags alot, and when I don't look at them its just perfect. No lag at all. I don't have any mods and I have 128mb graphics, 1GB RAM and its an Intel card. My computer effects and stuff are set to minimum because that gives lots of boost, also I have game booster on, also the Premium thingy on it. Also on GTA SA I have set my options to minimum. Please help me. Should I upgrade my graphics or what? Thanks

ok 128mb graphics is tiny, im running 2 cards at 1gb each so upgrade ur graphics
secondly Game booster is no good, ude be better off without it, download something like ccleaner and stop some programs running altogether
1gb of ram, dude u need more these days 4gb is average get at least 2

most computer issues can be solved with more Ram I can get a couple of 2gb sticks for about $45 AU each, just make sure every new part u buy is compatible with ur current motherboard.

With that machine I'd guess you are not a big gamer.

For SA you do not need to upgrade your RAM massively, another 1GB of RAM would do it, 2GB for good measure.

The Graphics card would be very easy to upgrade if you aren't a big gamer, Max you'd need for this is 512mb, perhaps 1GB really on Graphics, Prbably less than 50 GBP

ATI Radeon HD 4650 works fine aswell,1GB memory (is it memory? can't remember) and so far it worked with many latest games for me,even Crysis 2 without any graphic changes or lag

Do you know if you have a PCI-Express x16 slot or an AGP slot on your motherboard?

Also, you should look at what the graphics card memory it's speed is.
A 512mb gddr5 card would be better then 1gb gddr2/3 card( I think).

I've already made a deal with a man I bought this computer from. He said he will give me a better graphics so I can play San Andreas or any other game without lag (free, also this computer is so heavy !! ) lol
