That's the two latest dubstep songs I have heard, I'm not listening to dubstep that often

That's not dubstep.  Centerpiede has some similarities to dubstep, but Knife Party mostly produces some kind of Electrodub slash house slash dubstep sorta music.

I personally find the genre awful as well. They all sound the same, like, some chill melody, then it builds up, increase the beat to super fast levels, then WUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUBWUBWUBWUB

The genre's roots are great, though. I love Burial.

Dubstep is bad because even if you like the awful noise that it produces, there's only so much that you can actually make with it.

I like a few dubstep songs, I like classic songs, I like rock, I like pop, I like rap and I like things that sound good to my ears. Just because people say 'dubstep sucks' doesn't mean you have to jump in their group and start hating. There is good in bad and bad in good. Hate all you want, but I listen to anything that I like. What's good to me, I listen. In the past generations, there were good music and bad music.

My point is, we have different taste in music. Judging by the genre is just plain dumb, it's like judging someone from the place they live. Anyways, that's just my opinion. Listen to what you think is good, people have different opinions on everything.

Why is it I am not surprised when I understood the words "music" and "fad" (meaning from recent; today's era) would make shit music?

Seriously people, some of us don't hate on today's music and patronize music from the previous decade / generations for no reason. It's just that the overall quality of the artists has gotten worse, I do not remember people in the 90's complaining about how their music was utter shit compared to the 80's and 70's.

You can do many things with our technology nowadays =/
