It's a shame politicians are just being politicians.
All talk and no action.

Come-on, you're all smart people so why not start it?

Please can we see some of this happening?
It does not need 101 scripts.
It does not need 101 forum sections.
It can be done with effort!

I was voted Student (Union) President In college :) - If you're wondering why I put () it's because by default I am President of all students as by default all students are part of the Student Union unless they choose to opt out.

Borrowed some inspiration from this thread and wrote it in my Manifesto, of-course I made the thread so not like it's plagiarism.

You see, true politicians judge fast as well. They also use their too fast tongue trying to taunt others.
How do you know there's no "action"?

I don't know there is any -there is no ArgoLeaks person inside the LC government (yet?/maybe? :P) If someone says for example they will pay a loan by Friday. And they don't, and then Friday comes, Friday goes, people get tired and then wham - very angry.

It should not take so long, it should come bit by bit - not only does this show you remember promises time and time again but you also meet the needs when they come.

Right now the support of small organizations would be a great thing for the state to start doing, and also the support of organization like CMB (Accomplished) or LTA (Not Accomplished). As apposed to make everything at once. If you mean by dump all of it at once and have some grand release how will you know if each and every part will survive, it takes time to strengthen each department - as it would do in any other organization.

Start a blog even, or just keep us informed is what I ask, there is no need to keep people in the blank, if you say you will keep doing it allow us to get excited knowing what is happening, you can't keep it locked away (if it even exists) in an admin board / files - it'll in the end serve for the public and with more public people then admins alone so  :conf:

Of course, we can start a somewhat public log of information. That can be arranged.

I think that's really the point why we (The fresh arrivals) do not want this system. You handout a "donation", but it might be 10k and you got 3 million, it will just be a direct transfer from the SA project to the GTA IV and no jump into a new world of competition. -- But Like I said everyone needs to discuss this it might not be easy for people to give up on their earned cash. I do know however that if this realm is cleaned out of cash & a good economic system with as low corruption as possible the fresh arrivals will more happily stay than if people are driving around in fancy cars and got guns (when the /wep is removed) whilst they have to drive a cab for shit paycheck for weeks to even afford a car -- "I've been there, now it's their turn" That might be true, but what say that the fresh arrivals hasn't done that too on another server? And what's the point of all this? That we can create a huge community with active & dedicated role-players "oldschool" players along with fresh arrivals or boost the corruption & inflation of the old money to the new server?

PS: Need an edconomical advisor for the new server? I'll gladly contribue with my expertise.

Sometimes the rich can do good :).

Mayor, why you no respect / respond to this thread?

Hi fellas,

This topic seems to be more talk of rank and power than what the ranks actually entail. Since some are a rank for rank I will not support the ones that do not help the people who are in the server.

First off I'll start by explaining the reasons we may go ahead with these:

Housing

Janek has already took on the task of Housing and for people who do not know there is a topic in IV:MP Businesses where you can find more out about properties.

Communications & Media

Originally started by Twenty with Weazel News; This would be a good idea to get into motion where people can write articles about a particular event and get everyone to join in and comment about these articles. Good idea all round, just needs someone who is willing and commited to bring quality non biased material.

Public Transport

LTA as I remember it was originally started by Monte, and is currently under development through Janek with permissions for the content created by Monte.

So it appears these have already gone in motion!

Secondly we aim to make ArgonathRPG IV:MP as free as possible, it seems fair to mention that people can instead *help* in these areas and not be in charge of them.

Hope this answers any questions you had.

Regards, DellStorm

When adding value gets you worse off than you were before, due to a hidden agenda against you, its time to quit. Then remember why you quit in the first place.

I guess someone else should be in charge of it since Twenty rarely comes in-game.
She can still be the founder if it got re-started it tho.

Appointing someone else to handle it would only breathe life into it again.
