Where's the Roleplay?

As an experienced roleplayer I am starting to have my doubts within several groups in Argonath RPG. When I started this server I became addicted with roleplaying and Corleone.
But unfortunatly these past months I have my doubts from time to time If I am willing to keep playing here.
The only thing I see is, a man organizing a group himself, starting to make alliances with other mafia's, they start to round up with all the man they can get and start to attack other groups.
In these cases you can't react with RP, because they will round up at a certain location where you and your man are, making you not possible to flee, or to attempt to roleplay. Making it always cause in a massive shoot-out.
Is it just me or can mafia groups only show their power by having shoot-outs instead of finding a proper to roleplay between the groups.

Per example, this week, some group attacked us.
A group we never had been able to RP with, they show up and start to shoot which causes chaos. In these situations you hardy can't roleplay. And it get's really interesting when they start returning after they die, and keep on coming, making other groups attack us in the name of their group.. making it a double attack. What can you do? These situations makes It feel I am playing in a death-match server, and I am here to RP.
This is just an example that sums it all up, and there are many more.

Probably many of you would note to get an admin involved, or the ARPD/SAPD.
The experience I had is that they ignore these kind of situations because they always bring chaos and unnecessary arguments, which I can understand if I was an admin.

With this topic I hope I can bring a very important argument to start, share your stories.
And by starting this discussion, hoping it will end in a good result.

Its gone for a long time, since many things are against Argonath vision and shit I think thats why its in this way..

It isn't only criminal groups either. Even the scripted police forces are guilty of doing this, running around suspecting and killing people more frequently than ever. Atleast before I knew a handful of cops that I could roleplay with without the risk of being shot to death while typing or whatever. To be honest, the only way to avoid such a situation is to avoid combat completely.

True, the quality of the ARPD/SAPD is lowered so much in the past years. They should be making a system or something, like in the other the RP server..
It don't feel proud reffering to that specific RP server.

As we mentioned before. Its the players who can change it.
If you are too lazy or too infrequent to spend time actually showing examples to new players, they will do what they see.
Most who are criticizing either do not play at all or when they play are giving the exact example they say are against. So if you wish to improve things, start by yourself.
