Core 2 Quad or Core i3 for BF3?

I'm buying a desktop so, Advice me

3.3ghz, 3MB Cache Core i3
 
OR

2.66 Ghz, 6MB Cache Core2Quad

Depends which models they are... CPU speed never tells the whole story.

I was however able to Google the processor(s), being Intel i3-2120 and Core 2 Quad Q9400.
Comparing the i3 and the Core 2 Quad, I'd go for the i3. Not only is it newer, it has new architecture and is slightly more powerful for less watts/cores.
Of course, what you should buy depends on the price of both...

Yep. Get the I3 now and upgrade to a 2500k/3570k when you have more money and if you still want an upgrade.
2120 to 2500k should be a pretty good upgrade for BF3.

But if those cpu's are in 2 different pc's and you cant decide which one to take then also tell us the GPU of both.
And bare in mind that you cant upgrade your CPU from a C2Q to a SB I3/i5 without also upgrading your motherboard and RAM. Different sockets.

I would write the Core2Quad completely out of the equation to be honest. You'd probably be forking out just as much money for it as an i3... The desktop with the i3 is considerably more recent and up to date as opposed to the Core2Quads which use a 775 socket that has been around for donkeys. Going for the i3 will leave you with more options for future upgrades.
