Unsurprising that Microsoft would put in their own tablet.

Apple would most likely still be holding pole positions, or at least for a time, perhaps in part due to its name and brand identity.
This looks quite sleek, too, however, although it'd be even less portable than the iPad, for instance - which I find a little difficult just moving around without a bag.

I've had a go with Windows 8, and a number of its features (including the Start menu) are a lot more interactive and has been designed with touch-screen usability in mind.
