Since a few days ago, any new local tracks I try to import to my library will not link to the Spotify server. This is a problem for me since I use the "listen together" feature with friends via facebook, so the tracks need to be linked to the spotify database. I bought a few new albums but since a few days ago, they just won't link. I made sure all the metadata is correct. I tried running through Gracenote and nothing changed. I don't get an option to "link track" on right click. If I go to the artist's spotify page, it says there that I have the track as a local file, but not in my library, so it hasn't actually linked even though Spotify is aware that I have the file.
Here are some screenshots of an album I bought; "The Link" by Gojira. As the pictures show, it doesn't show as linked in my library but the Gojira page shows the local file icon.
This picture is taken from my "Local Files".
This picture is taken from the Gojira Spotify page. Notice the local file icons.
Please note that it's not just this album, it's all the albums I recently tried to import. Around 7 in total. I also tried deleting and re-importing one of the albums I already had in my Spotify library (which was linked to the database). When I re-imported it, it failed to link. So this is obviously a problem with Spotify and not the tracks.
Any help with this matter would be really nice. Thank you.
