BSOD after Installing Nvidia Geforce driver - MSI CX623 - Help guys D:

Sup guys, so I just recently installed the Nvidia GeForce driver for my Nvidia GeForce 310M graphics card for GTA IV because I need that 1gb of video memory that it gives. Anyways, now everytime I try to play a game or something, I get a blue screen of death with the source being 'Nvlddmkm.sys', can anybody help please? Any solutions? I tried a few solutions but it didn't work, right now im just trying install older versions of the driver.

Otherwise the graphics drivers kernel is crashing/corrupt.
Did you perform a clean install of the drivers when you installed the latest ones? If not then try installing them again with a Clean Install by first uninstalling the current drivers, restarting and reinstalling the graphics drivers.
If the drivers have the feature to perform a "Clean Install" then choose that option.

If it still crashes it could be incompatible drivers/corrupt drivers, you could try redownloading them but it's likely a bug in the new drivers, and if that's the case then run a previous version of the drivers instead.

Yeah I did a clean install on everything i've tried, I even used a software called 'Driver Sweeper' which makes sure that all the driver files that i've un-installed are wiped out completely.

I will try that method that you just sent me and i'll give feedback once i've done it. Thanks, hopefully it works
Post Merge: June 15, 2013, 02:34:27 pmWell after doing that the good news was that I didn't get a BSOD, but the bad news was that once I tried running a game it went EXTREMELY LAGGY, and I had to do a hard shutdown and I uninstalled the driver. I'm gonna start working on this problem on tuesday (last exam), but please keep giving suggestions

I don't recommend using software to delete drivers. Simply uninstall them from your program list and make sure you install them from the Nvidia driver page. Let the tool scan your PC for the latest compatible version.
About the lag, did you have it before? If not it may be your video card's memory gone bad which causes your video card to run out of memory. Do you lag when you're standing still and not moving the camera?
