Guys, i've been a passionate DayZ player for over half a year now, and i must say that AFTER the last DAYZ Patch, it has been ruined. I went from solid 30+ fps down to 15-25fps. After i installed DayZ Overwatch and tried playing on 60+ people server Thrrilerr, i got instantinious 30+ fps. And my pc is just not the most high end one aswell.
2nd FIX > GO INTO MY DOCUMENTS > ARMA 2 > ARMA2.cfg and ARMA2OA.CFG and CHANGE THE FOLLOWING:
GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1000; to GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1
GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=1000; to GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=1
that SHOULD give you a boost, it didnt for me, but might for you.
Fiddle around with your graphical settings, sometimes higher settings give more fps.. Arma2 engine is just glitchy and tricky. Fiddle around them ,set your 3d resolution to something below 100%.
