Hello guys, reciently i've been angry cause 2 days ago an error showed up on my laptop. My laptop felt into my bed while it was turned on, no any hardware got damanged since the bed took the hit , so now when i turn it on i get a blue screen showing this error: 0xc000021a

I've no F8 key activated, so i can't do nothing and im really getting sad cause i don't know if i can backup all my data.

Whenever i turn it on i get this:

Then after that i get a black screen with Acer logo and it says: Trying to automatically repair. This has 2 days loading and it hasn't been repaired or any change has happened.

So if anyone could tell me what to do, i would appreciate that, maybe trying to create a loop over the repair and start it as safe mode, but i don't have the F8 Key activated so i don't know what to do.

Greetings, Ramiro Garza.

I had the same problem a few days ago with my Acer laptop after installing a Windows 8 update.

The only way I managed to solve it and sort out the laptop was after multiple restarts and eventually I was able to get into a diagnostics screen on the startup which allowed me to "refresh" the install which removed all of the programs I had installed and basically "reset" the laptop to the default setup, however it does keep all of your data.

To get to that it would require you to insert the Windows 8 DVD and select "Repair my computer" when booting from the disc.

Some information on "Refreshing" the PC can be found here:
