As nice as this idea is, it's also quite discriminating towards new players. As someone said before, imagine a new guy joining and getting told he must play for a week before he can do his favourite job. I wouldn't come again, would you?
On the other hand, waiting for a week isn't so bad for the ones who are actually interested in doing the police job properly, so this could become some kind of filter... Uh.
But what would this waiting and taking a test solve? We all know cops with passports who still abuse their rights, even though they should understand that they can't. So in theory, we would have 7 days of peace from possible abuses from new players and then, they would start coming in "waves" (
).
Of course, it has an upside side too... We all know server hoppers who just come during night and suspect people for "7ass" when there is no one to unsuspect them and deal with this guy. So this would be nice prevention against such cases.
At the beggining of the post I was determined to say "no"... I wonder how I ended up writing upsides and downsides... But anyway, my "no" stands - it goes too far against the Vision, even though it has some upsides.
