So, I just got the game on steam (I know, quite late haha :p)

I'm looking for some mods for the game, what are they? What do they do?

There are many mods of many kinds.
You can find some from forum.scssoft.com or just google for ETS2 mods.

There's a DLC (like expansion pack) called "Going East". I've tried it and there's something changed and improved. Now, Hungary is available in map. I think good DLC and I recommend you to download it.

Yeah that's a normal update.

I suggest you try trucksim map if you want to really enlarge the map.

2. Exactly, well in SA there used to be texture mods and graphical mods, what does ETS2 offer? Since it has a SPECIAL mods slot to enable and disable them. o.O

I own both the base game and that DLC :P Basically I purchased the gold bundle. xD
