Actually, a moderator was present during the transaction, and he is the one who requested to issue you a server ban.
The problem is, your friend didn't show any kind of refuse as you said. You even kept checking the available admins using /admins, you  knew that what you are going to do is a rulebreak. So don't tell me you wanted to talk with an admin about this transfer.
