I know this isn't a new game, but I haven't seen it on this discussion board yet, so I figured I'd post about it. It's a Futuristic FPS, on the PS3 for free on the store. This game is a branch of the game "EVE Online", though it's Planetary battle based.

Dust 514 takes place in the same fictional universe as Eve Online, a science-fiction MMORPG set 21,000 years in the future. The Eve Online backstory explains that humanity, after using up the Earth's resources, began to colonize the rest of the Milky Way. The development of faster-than-light travel allowed mankind to expand at an extremely fast pace, leading to violent competition between space-faring corporations. A natural wormhole was discovered, and humanity entered through it to find an empty new galaxy which they began colonizing. However, the wormhole connecting the two galaxies collapsed, leaving the young colonies cut off from the worlds that had supplied them. Without support, many of the colonies in the new galaxy died off, and over time the few that remained lost their knowledge of both their technology and of their origins from Earth. Eventually, a new era began when civilization was rebuilt and faster-than-light travel was rediscovered. Five unique space-faring cultures emerged from the colonies to become the only interstellar powers in the new galaxy.
Characterization: You have four empires to choose from, in character customization
Amarr: The Amarr Empress rules the largest and oldest of the four empires, a vast theocracy supported by Minmatar slave labor. Amarrian citizens tend to be highly educated and fervently believe that slavery is but one step on a spiritual path toward fully embracing faith. Despite several recent setbacks, the Amarr Empire is the most stable nation and most powerful military in New Eden. Allied to the Caldari State, they wish to reclaim the Minmatar Republic.
Caldari: Founded on the tenets of patriotism and hard work that carried its forebears through hardships on an inhospitable homeworld, the Caldari State of today is a corporate dictatorship, led by rulers determined to return to the meritocracy. Ruthless and efficient in the boardroom and on the battlefield, the Caldari are living emblems of strength, persistence, and dignity. The Caldari are allies of the Amarr Empire and are locked in war with the Gallente Federation.
Gallante: Stronghold of liberty, the Gallente Federation is the only true democracy in New Eden, its diverse population producing some of the most progressive minds of the era. Pioneers of artificial intelligence, the Federation once relied on drone fleets to defend its borders and beliefs. Today, some of the bravest men and women in New Eden man Gallentean starships. The Gallente are allied with the Minmatar Republic and fight viciously against the Caldari State.
Minmatar: No nation in the galaxy has endured more turmoil than the Minmatar. Once a thriving tribal culture, the Minmatar were enslaved by the Amarr Empire for more than 700 years until most won their freedom in a massive rebellion. The fledgling Republic has been modeling their recovery on their allies, the Gallente Federation. The Minmatar people today are resilient, ingenious, and hard-working, and will forever curse the day that Amarr ships first darkened their home skies.

The servers are usually filled with around 20,000 players worldwide, and all fit onto one real time galaxy. Inputs? Want to join the action? Go ahead and reply!
