Maybe if you actually looked at your script, tried it yourself, then you'd know they didn't yet work for Medics.

I agree with every single thing Hayden has said in this thread. He has very much captured how many players feel - left out. As for my own observations, I have seen that many feel that non-Admins are sometimes overlooked, and have no part in the Server Development. Ideas are implemented, yes, but one thing for example, the LSPD Gate, people only wanted a simple /opengate in an area command. Instead, a really complex gate was attempted and in the end scrapped.

I have also noticed something in this thread - you have a rule for no Flaming, and yet you call people "Moron" which makes you sound rather stupid, because what they are saying is absolutely correct. The quote "My way or the Highway" applies very well to your views. This is something you are probably entitled to, it would just help if 'Your way' was a little more agreeable and considering to lower players.

Lately, every time I go on Argonath I get pissed off with a possible series of things - admin abuse, cop abuse, both of the previous, flaming from an Admin. It really, really annoys me when an Admin acts all high and mighty, and untouchable - because they are. We can't do shit against them, the same with the Cops and the ARPD. We can't do anything against them, except quit the game. We can't argue with an Admin when they are wrong, we get bananaed and kicked. And worst of all, we can't do anything at all to argue with you, because you never even understand what we are saying.

It was not at all complex, but reacted on the presence of a cop. Worked without any failure on test server.
Also before removing we changed the gate work to an /opengate command. Result : the same, after some time it broke and /opengate did not open the gate any more.
Problem defined as a glitch in the 'moveobject' function of SA:MP. Solutions:
1. continue making cops crazy
2. remove the gate

That is why we made the community report. It is meant to find out if there is any problems. IF you feel that you did not break the rules and can not argue, write there. If you disagree about the rules, ask on forums...

Yes we do not always agree with ideas of players, sometimes because it would be too much advantage, other times because the technical side does not agree.
And usually we try to explain why. There is one thing you should understand. Anyone who wants to have some special things should first prove that thye deserve it.
If there are paramedics stand-by at all time.... if they work to save people and take dead people to the morgue...then we will provide something.

It is in my eyes that some Admins act as higher players, and this is where I came with the word "lower" in my mind. It really is the way non-Admin regulars are made to feel on Argonath.

I have used the Community Report before, however in a relatively blatant case of Abuse nothing was done because basically it didn't sound like Abuse, and the Logs wouldn't have shown it as abuse (in the end, the lack of result was predictable based on lack of evidence). The only way to know these things is to actually have been on the Server at the time, to get a mood/feel of the players online etc.
I understand you can't be always online  but so many times an Admin works against the players. Just today, one of the Soloniks Roleplayed stealing a car (not carjacking, btw), and then the owner (an Admin) pointed Shotguns (which is perfectly fine), then the Solonik member quickly drove off in the (fast) car. They were forced under threat of Admin action to bring it back, despite certain death/injury for them if they had gotten out of the car in the first place (they were definently going to be shot whatever happened, I can't describe how so here, which is a good example of how text can't convey mood).

Also, the Corleones shot at that same member, and upon him returning fire the Corleones ran to the cops and the admins prior to the Solonik member being frozen for DMing, despite it being Self-Defense.

I know that they should Community Report these things, but the fact is text can't really explain it. Neither can a Screenshot. Which is unfortunately a problem that I know nobody can solve.

If a player is annoying - you can report admins about it...
If you think someone abused you - you could send a report...
Blaming the main admins who were and are working with the complains means have no idea what work it is... If you think that every report should be answered by kicking or banning people - then you are more abusive... To waste a time on players and investigations who started flame first - un-thankful work... However this work was done and still continues...
Reason why Elrond resigned from this work - right in wasting time (it takes a lot of time from admin to investigate every case)...

Admins are flaming? Did not see... Any proves please... The one who was flaming on my eyes - lost admins rights in 5 seconds...

Roleplay in MULTIplayer supposes both sides included in... If Soloniks just came and stole a car player kept near him - it can be zomg annoying... Especially when people roleplay, have some conversations...

I myself today roleplayed a cop and the guy did not get the idea of our operation... We dealed with him according to roleplay without hurting each other... As I can honestly understand him that he is not involved yet into the situation...

the same goes to Krist_Corleone who called me and I answered "Hello Corleone's ass" he was sad, pmed me "what is the problem" and i apologized told him sorry i thought you were involved in roleplay between C.R.A.S.H. and Corleones...

As for admins I haven't seen from admins any HARD crimes...

All this "omfg lots admins abusing, lots cops abusing, etc. concider as a fake info until will not have any proves on all this "omfg lots"...

Well I'd update the Cop rules, sorry if it was said before.
1. A suspect is not always guilty. Cops have to collect evidence and proccess the suspect in the city hall.
2. If a suspect is armless, only melee weapons can be used against him. (14 cops shot me for speeding).
3. Cops are only allowed to shoot if the suspect is armed and dangerous.
4. If a suspect drowns, the cops have to do EVERYTHING to help him, thanks to Marten, the only of 6 cops who thought of that in a pursuit.
5. Did you shoot someone? You have to pay for it, most of the cops abuse their guns.
6. RP siutuations have to be dealt with, Frank once dispatched a cadet to deal with a traffic accident. The cadet didn't even bother doing it.
7. Cops MUST know geographie of the state, because I never heard ANY cop requiring a roadblock on the north path of Richman, for example.
8. What's up with hanging out in front of the Police Department?

Yeah man I was thinking about those complains "OMG I was just speeding and they suspected me!"
If you are suspected means cops are near (they cannot suspect being in other area)... If they are near - they exactly see that you are speeding... So here I do not see a crime from cops to suspect...
Yes they can ask to pull over, try sirens, megaphone... And I see they ask to stop...

The problem came from:
- All wanna be wanted are speeding in front of cops to attract attention
- 90% asking "pull over" has no results...

On future we plan to add a "ticket" system for reckless drivers and speeders... And ARPD official officers will have rights to remove license, which means the car of constant reckless driver and speeder will be removed from his ownership...

What about such idea?

Roadblocks almost useless especially against speeders... While they will make a roadblock, speeder will be in SF...

Sorry if it was mentioned before.

1. They are in our game. Although if you are a good RPer you might convince the cops to go to confession
2. If a suspect runs cops can use whatever weapon they have. If a suspects surrenders, they get warned for killing.
3. Cops are allowed to shoot unless the suspect surrenders
4. If a suspect gets in to the water by accident yes. If he goes in to the water to escape getting caught they can still shoot him.
5. If a cop shoots an innocent he gets warned. Three warnings is kick. This is a scripted system.
6. Then the cadet will probably not be promoted.
7. Agreed.
8. That is where most people go to attack cops and get wanted.
