Well, I have quite a new build (parts varying from 4 months to few days old) and I am already suffering from issues.

At random moments, one of the displays (I have 2, both hooked up to GPU) just go black, other one freezes. Needs reset by the button.
At other times, both displays go black and just restart out of nowhere (irrespective of activity).
In some cases, a BSOD also appears, as I can see from minidump files.
My Skype refuses to log in at times due to disk I/O error.
Chrome opens up the Chromium page every time I start Chrome after a restart. - Found the solution for this, apparently an extension which used to work fine.
Dropbox was throwing a permissions error, however I solved it by running 2 commands on the Dropbox folder.

I installed clean and legitimate Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit on Tuesday, issues have occurred ever since.
List of BSODs that I have gotten so far - http://puu.sh/hXsz3/63bbe35d51.png

My PC specifications are:
Intel i7-4790k, not overclocked at this moment, cooled by Corsair H110i GT
MSI Z97 Gaming 7 motherboard
4x 4GB Crucial Ballistix Tactical 1600 MHz
Zotac GeForce GTX 970 4GB GDDR5
Samsung 850 PRO SSD 256GB, 2TB Seagate HDD
Corsair RM750 PSU

SSD SMART looks all OK. I ran "sfc /scannow", found some corrupt files, used "dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth" and it completed successfully.
There is no sign of overheating, cooling works fine.
I ran memtest86, however it's layout was messed up and I did not see any helpful information. The log is here - http://pastebin.com/3H3aCQb8

Problem still exists. I'm out of ideas at this moment.

EDIT: Chrome bookmarks lost all their icons also for some reason.

What power supply are you using?

I would say to reinstall the windows, if you didn't try it out.

I just clean installed it like 4 days ago, looking for more reasonable solution at this moment.

Sounds like your problem is rather near you GPU...

Try and put your display rather on the motherboard and try and run your PC, do take your GPU out though and see if you get another BSOD and the other bugs. It's worth a shot, as it can go from a driver problem to a eventual factory error in the card itself. Tbh, nothing to lose here. Like this you can disclose every part one by one.

You should try and install an older Windows, perhaps Windows 7.

See does it behave the same,if not then problem solved. If the problem occurs still, that's a GPU problem and we'll look into it afterwards.

Interesting, the GPU was working fine in my previous build (bought it in January, updated rest in Feb/March). I'll give it a try once I get a new HDMI cable.

I kind of doubt the Windows is the issue here, as I've been using this one for 2 years without any issues.

I rather think something's horribly wrong with the motherboard as I had some similair problem with my PC couple years back, got a replacement and it seemed to be fine from there on.

Oddly enough, it has been stable today, even though I haven't really done anything apart from the new HDMI cable (my sister needed one, so I gave her mine and got myself new one).

EDIT: http://puu.sh/i2hQ0/28c6c492c7.png
Nope, not stable enough. I ran memtest86 over the night, it resulted in some errors. I will try to get hands on another set of RAMs just for testing.

EDIT2: Not the RAM, first trying out without the Corsair's USB connection, next attempt will be dedicated soundcard.

EDIT3: Guess I found the issue being in Ethernet drivers (Qualcomm E2200). I also found this on the internet

There is a major thread over on MSI's support forums in regards to their laptops and motherboards that incorporate the Killer NIC and Killer WLAN. Not always but enough it got a response from MSI that the Killer NIC software suite and often just the generic driver itself will result in system instability with both Windows 8 (Most often) and Windows 7(on occasion).

So did you fix the drivers?

Tried many versions, most of them caused issues. Last one, that I have right now, is from Qualcomm directly and hasn't caused issues yet. Will take few days before I can be sure though.

After some messing with the LAN and graphics drivers, it has been stable so far. Guess the fault lied there somewhere.

and lockhammer.
