Well, I got banned for Deathmatching. I was involved in a situation where we approached Monte Motague and beckoned him to stop, he decided not to and ran over Richard Corleone who was standing infront his car. He drove to Los Santos Police Department.  When we got there we caught up to him and he got ran over by the car. He then fired a shot at our car so we got out and then ran after him inside the building, We chased after him and Richard shot him killing him. He apparently reported us for deathmatch I guess. Marcel didnt ask me a question or anything I was instantly punished without anyone asking me to explain anything.

You were banned due to what happened during your 'interaction' with Monte that you mentioned above. You clearly were out to kill him. Once he fled you gave chase without any roleplay involved at that point besides "/s stop!". Even though he did aim at you, that wasn't a valid reason to kill him. Therefore, your actions are classed as deathmatching and have resulted in a ban due to you being a veteran who should be aware of the rules we have in this community.

While you were not at the center of this (which should have resulted in a lighter punishment), I expected you to not engage in the DM (as Richard did). So you punish me before you investigate the situation, how nice. I went into the building and by the time I spawned in Monte was dead and I'm deathmatching. Lets just ban Monte as well since he was "involved in the situation as described above" cause he did aim and shot at our car. Nice logic you have there.

I don't think you get my point here. With your logic you should go ingame now ban someone for hacking then when they post in their unban request ask them if they were going to hack or not. You clearly didnt investigate the situation else you wouldnt be asking me this question now.

The evidence provided by both parties shows that Grandpa hadn't even shot therefore any form of punishment is seen as unnecessary.
One can't simply be punished for intent (to attack/kidnap a person) without doing something otherwise that would result in most players being banned for thinking about killing others.
