First: No, I'm not back despite dozens of people's admirable efforts to change my mind.
I've been discussing with the owner a possible way for me to maintain some of the projects and services not directly apart of SA-MP, but integrated. I know a few have raised concerns over the fate of Argonath Now and my own Browser+ (which technically is released under Argonath's name).
The solution at hand is both of these projects and affiliated services will be transferred to a new initiative startup community / project of mine called
Venture Code. Venture Code will be a partner of Argonath and will continue to develop and update these projects for Argonath SA-MP.
This way, the Now Multifactor app can keep functioning without the current developers needing to learn a very comprehensive and complicated system that runs totally independent from SA-MP (other than like 3 lines of in the RS5.2 scripts which hook into it). In addition, the BrowserPlus project will remain under the Argonath name but be developed by Venture Code.
What about the main Argonath Now app and Now API? That I don't know yet. I wouldn't be optimistic on seeing it started / finished due to the load of stuff I just took on.
This also keeps me from having to check in here often, as updates to both will be published on Venture Code's update
blog.
