SA:MP Group Information

If you wish to start a group based on the Argonath SA:MP server you have come to the right place, this post will outline all the rules, requirements and information a group based in the SA:MP server will need. It should go without saying that all topics in SA:MP Groups and Families will be under strict moderation, any reply with an indecent reaction such as; trolling, fighting, provoking etc will result in severe punishment for that forum user. All your role-play issues are to remain role-play issues don't bring them to the forums. All groups must have a set of qualities if they wish to succeed a few of which can be detailed below.

Strong and Active Leadership
Having an active leadership that which is well versed in the server rules and roleplay means a stable and organized group. Any group which wishes to obtain a recognised or official status must have a leadership which stands out in a good way.

Continuous Activity
A group should be able to stay active and stable over time and not die out within a matter of weeks. Groups which do not meet activity requirements will be removed along with their assets-.. official and recognised groups can expect to lose their statuses if they can not continuously provide high-quality roleplay to the server.

Roleplay and unique opportunities
Groups must be able to create unique roleplay opportunities for their members and other players within the server.  While we do not expect groups to portray one to one realistic versions of what they're based on it would make more sense if you roleplayed as a crime family rather making deals in the criminal underworld and obtaining connections rather than going around in sports cars evading in hot pursuits.

Track Record
You are expected to be a role model to other groups in the server, we cannot have and will no longer tolerate groups who continuously break the rules, all groups will have to abide the server rules and are subject to group warnings which may result in loss of status or group closure.

Group Warnings

Groups within the SA:MP server are all required to play by the rules of the server, recognized and official factions even more so. We don't expect factions with statuses to be involved in any type of rule-breaking situations.  While this is mainly for factions with such status we'll also be looking at normal factions and their members who have been misbehaving. 

As a recognized or official group it's expected that group leaders take care of their own members who have been known to rule break and shed a dark light upon their group, if you choose to ignore their wrongdoings then we'll have no choice but to handle them for you.  Normal groups should not take this as a free pass to rule break, groups who are continuously involved in rule breaks may find themselves losing their scripted group entirely depending on the situation.

Recognized and Official groups get three strikes before their status is revoked along with everything given to them for obtaining such status. Strikes can come from a range of things such as; rulebreaking, OOC provoking or attacking people with no valid roleplay reason.  Groups should also be aware of the THREE HOUR return rule regarding mass wars/shoot-outs, this DOES NOT apply to 1v1 situations. This should not be used as an excuse as it was in the past, we expect all factions regardless of status to be aware of this rule.

*Clarification, regular groups will still have a limit of three strikes. Once this limit is reached your group may be terminated by Server HQ,*

Requesting an in-game/scripted group

  • The group must have a minimum of five people actively participating in the group's activities, people sitting on the member-list, "friends" or "associates" does not count
  • Group topic in the SA:MP Groups & Families or Business section.
  • Group/business topic must have existed for at least 1 week and with at least 3 active members (minimum 5 hours a week per person).
  • The group has to be active role-playing, a scripted group will not be provided to a group that has not shown themselves in-game, interacting with others.
  • You must have a founder which is not a leading member of any other group. An exclusion to this is sub-groups, or official groups like DS, ATC, and CMB. Sub-groups are groups generally given to official groups for sub jobs, like SAPD-SWAT, SAPD-Command, etc.
  • Players leading the group should not have had a severe punishment within the last month.
  • A group may be removed by HQ at any point for any reason they seem fit, this includes the removal of vehicles inside of the group and any possible group accounts. This is generally done when a group goes inactive or the group has a large number of punishments/warnings.

If you meet the requirements above contact a Manager+ to create your group, those found lying about meeting the criteria will be blacklisted.

General group rules

  • Show activity in their topic weekly of a form of roleplay, at least three screenshots failure to do such will lead to an activity warning uppon reaching three warnings you will lose the group. These reset every 6 months.
  • Do not have "Allies", "Homies", "Friends" and such as part of your group they are either members of your group or not.
  • Repeated OOC provocations between groups will result in warnings being issued.
  • If a group leader receives a valid ban, HQ will take over the group until a suitable leader is found.
  • You may only have ONE founder per group, meaning people with the in-game rank of 100 group wise. (Exceptions being Government groups)
  • If you want to post more than five screens in a post use a spoiler to avoid lag on slower PC/phones.
  • Respect the board's rules listed here

Recognised & Official Perks

Recognised
- You can get an unowned building set as your HQ as long as it fits your group.
- Your group can own up to 10 vehicles.
- Ability to sell drugs to the drug market for a better price than normal groups.
- You may submit a custom map for your HQ's exterior and the surrounding area.

Official
- Same perks as recognised.
- Your group can own up to 12 vehicles.
- Ability to sell drugs to the drug market for the best price possible.
- Ability to submit a custom interior unique to your group, which no one else may use.
- You may request a group gate. (as long as it fits your HQ) **Interior gates will not be added**

Recognised and Official groups are hand-picked by server HQ.

I didn't think I'd have to mention this.. but asking for a status or checking on it will only delay the process. Focus on roleplaying and we'll award statuses when we deem it fit.
