It's usually flooded with "bannd pls no" and other stuff that is irrelevant for most people.

I think that people should be able to filter what is shown here, which boards do they (don't) want to see recent posts from.

This way people would get news that are relevant to them.

The settings for that are forum-wide, not user-specific.
