IVMP Troubleshooting

So im having issues, playing IVMP at the moment on my PC, here are the issues....

I have eflc installed on steam as well as GTA IV, not as the complete edition, just separate, i downloaded the new IVMP T4 R2 Client, and dragged over the files to my eflc directory and run both "ivmpGameLauncher" and "ClientLauncher" as administrator. The server browser starts up as soon as i click on ivmpgamelauncher, and i connect to Argonath RPG, it starts up the loading screen all the way to the rockstar logos, then stops to a black screen and crashes.

If anyone has any ideas, and or insights to helping me fix the problem that'd by really helpful

Well, most probably it's the game problem and not the client's. Is it running good in sp mode?

Try reinstalling eflc latest patch ,
Check if you have C++2017 86x 64x installed,and c++2005
Reinstall the client after those steps above ..
Apply this options (check on run as administrator - disable full optimizations - disable dpi high scale) on both client launcher and ivmplauncher.exe
And tell us whats the results hope its fixed

Check if you have C++2017 86x 64x installed,and c++2005
Reinstall the client after those steps above ..

Thank you to everybody that replied, now this is the progress iv'e made with the issue...

So i tried everything that you guys told me to, when i downloaded the patch to reinstall it, it wouldn't let me, so i went onto steam and Verified the game Cache and instead of validating the files it saw the game directory as corrupt and instead made a new one xD. Then in that new EFLC Game directory it made, i put IVMP in that, and it works, to an extent... I also want to mention that i reinstalled patch 3 in this new directory. Now i connected to an IVMP Sandbox server and everything was fine, then i tried connecting to argo and, told me to register, so i put in the details to register, and it comes up with an error saying "Error: you game version unknown" or something like that.

Thats as far as i have gotten with this, any further insights would be useful, i think that maybe its telling me to downgrade to the last patch but i'm not sure, i'l probably give it a try.

Go to your EFLC directory--> right click EFLC.exe----> Properties------> Detail----> Check the File version

Okay, the patch that i had was patch 1.1.3.0 so i downgraded to 1.1.2.0 and it still says when i try to register ig "Error: you game version is unknown"

Im at a loss With this.

You don't need to downgrade anymore, patch 1.1.3.0 should be fully compatible. Since i've never heard of that error you're mentioning i'll tag @Armelin , maybe he can help you further.

Yo Thanks for that brother, been wanting to try it out for a while....

anyway to end this topic off and finalise my issue, whats happened is, Previously when having all the issues discussed throughout this topic, i had downloaded the IVMP T4 R2 Client and it came in a zip file with all the attached documents inside for IVMP Obviously, But when i clicked to download it i hadn't noticed it before but it said "Installer" when i had downloaded it, it never actually came with an automatic installer, which may or may not have been the problem. so i gave up for a couple of weeks when this was said...

So as soon as i saw Armelin respond, i quickly tried to Launch IVMP again in my EFLC folder, but it came up with an error telling me it was the wrong version of IVMP so i uninstalled and jumped on the IVMP official website, clicked on the download page and i had noticed that now, The T4 IVMP client was available for GTA 4 and not only available for EFLC anymore, which is great, so i figured they could have done an update on the client or something new? Anyways i clicked, once again on the automatic installer and ta da its actually an installer, i located my EFLC.exe and off i went, no issues no hassles no nothing. Registered on Argonath just fine.
