NOD32 and ESET are great, but they make your computer run slowly. They are both very "heavy" programs and are for protecting whole servers and things...i dont thing they are for home, but u can still put them ...

Maybe your comp run slowly  ,mine is awesome with NOD32 I don't have any problems.
My recommendation is NOD32  :)

found your problem.
time to fix it eh

download AVG free edition, and completely remove norton 100% from your computer..
it's like a virus itself! it attatches itself to your computer and takes it over..

.... Norton is NOT the problem.. he has spyware. there are no free spyware removers... but there are spyware blockers that only offer real-time protection like Spyware Doctor, unless you buy it

well, when i had kaspersky it found virus inside itself an selfdeleted ...
You alrady said it on another topic.
That just proves it is very good.
Imagine your AV is infected. cause some virus took over it.
With normal AVs you will never know that this virus is letting all others go free inside your pc.
With kaspersky, that will never happen. Once threatned, kaspersky will selfdestruct taking the virus with him.

Kaspersky AV is an altruist hero!!!
