[SA:MP] Argonath RPG - Last Chapter: Fort Carson

Hello, there are some things in the works for SA:MP. The situation as everyone is noticing hasn't been good at all recently, people still fighting left and right and only a very small number of players want to actually change something and improve the server.
There is some information circulating around that the HQ gave up on the server and left it to die and that there's no initiative (it came from a staff member) and I'd like to assure everyone that the information is completely false and that said person only speaks for himself (when there was an actual initiative he wasn't even there to assist).

Moving on to what's important, we're noticing and seeing the players that actually join and roleplay in the desert area around area 51 and fort carson and they will have a big priority in terms of support, there are some changes that will come regarding the playstyle of the server, the group system and the maps around the server; many useless maps will be removed, there will be no "official" and "recognised" groups at all (with the exception of the old clans) a new elaborated system will come out after hearing out the opinions of everyone. We will change the style of play on the server i.e. we will have everyone move from the city and focus their roleplay in the a small area (which will be bone county and tierra robada and their towns). Police will become sheriffs, MCs and bandits should replace mafias and gangs (they have no place in the desert), players should also wear skins that go by the same "desert" theme and everyone should move from the city to that side of the map.
HQ will be by your side to be able to own 1 house and 1 store in these areas if you don't have space to own properties. If active players wish to own a certain property that is owned by an inactive player (even if he's continuously paying taxes) he will lose that property (obviously if there is a plan for the buyer to use it for roleplay purposes and not just hold it because of some past grudges).

This is still in the works and still hasn't started yet, this is just a mere draft any smartass remarks will be removed. /discuss

 Could we perhaps have an update on the actual mapping of the "city boundaries" to reflect the fact that a majority of Bone County falls under "San Fierro City Boundaries"? Perhaps have it as "you are now entering Bone County boundaries" or have them list Las Venturas appropriately?

I think this would work best by not limiting players specifically outside city limits, but also putting BC under Las Venturas city boundaries?

Thanks for the time to discuss this today.

I agree in principle with the above albeit small changes which we agreed earlier.

1) Move the spawn point to Fort Carson (scripter required)
2) Close the borders of Fort Carson so it is near impossible to leave (mapper required)
3) Put out a advertisement for a scripter on the official SA:MP forum
4) Set up official groups, without scripts to support common jobs - e.g. taxi firm, body guard firm and other imaginative firms
5) Bring back 'freeroam RP' meaning it supports both elite RP and low-level RP
6) Introduce trusted members as moderators to prevent trolls etc
7) Put the server back on the official list

Random (that includes new players spawn) and after death spawns have been moved to Fort Carson hospital, without the need of a scripter.

As the virus outbreak turned out to be a hoax, life started to get back to normal and all people returned to their respective cities. Restrictions to going to LS, LV and SF have been lifted.
