i know my sound drivers arnt bad cuz my comp kicks ass. and also in BioShock i dont have any sound... maybe its Vista?

it looks like your game didnt "see" sound hardware right way...

try this, remove file called gta_sa.set from C:\Documents and Settings\XXX\My Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files
than run single player and bind keys to ur preferance, also check in sound options if Hardware acceleration is on

Also what sound hardware do u use?
