At the moment if your ARPD and have been 'crashed' out, to get your uniform you have to do duty..
If you have 'extra' weapons you can save them if you have a suitable location then load them back up....
Now...
Was in ARPD Skin
Had 4 sniper loads on me, mainly for observation and take out them really annoying crims who think they can stand out of range and taunt
Game crashed...
Back in freecop/cadet skin.
Only way to retain weapons is to save them, thankfully my room in Emerald Isle not far from LVPD.
Saved the sniper (17 rounds left, had used 3 in SF against a nasty suspect, all missed tho)
Got my ARPD duty uniform on (and of course would have lost the sniper instanlty if i still had it on)
Went back to the hotel to get my arms... load Weapon1... nothing.... did it again... something like You dont have a weapon saved here.
I lost teh sniper and as such there is no point in me spending out to get arms requied for special operations just inc ase i crash cos if I do I either have to sit with the cadet skin (and get treated like ... well I seen it!) or I loose the weapons I paid for.
What makes this interesting is a Cadet/Freecop in teh same situation has no problem as they dont have to do duty as they already in thier skin..
