  Hey guys,

I just bought a Sapphire HD3650 GDDR3 512MB Graphics card
After reformating the HDD, and re installing XP Media Center, I install the drivers (although sometimes says cannot find driver for hardware/ OS) and after restarting on request, the screen will freeze on the XP loading screen (with the logo and loading animation). PC Works in safe mode, and with old graphics card. MOtherboard is PCI-E, I have sufficient RAM, anyone  have any ideas?

Are you sure you have the right drivers?
Have you updated the drivers?
Have you tried setting off your motherboards on-board card in the bios?
Does your computer have the right amount of power to support the heavier graphic card? (These things eat watts..)

This is all I can really think of..there is probably a guy on this forum that knows alot me than me about this, so I would suggest trying to or wait for someone that knows alot about it, anyway, good luck ;)

Im gonna update the bios for the motherboard...
Also there is windows XP SP3  i will try...
The recommended power for the card is 300W- my PSU can provide 350 max :S   If I get a more powerful PSU would this have any negative effects on the motherboard>?

For as far as I know it will not have any negative effects, just keep an eye out that you buy a good brand and not Sweex or something. Because the wattage of silly junk brands are far from what they say on the package...

SP3 might solve some compatability problems, so upgrading could be a benefit.
And try putting out your on-board videocard in the bios, this also solves compatability problems ;)

All motherboards have on-board videocards, try looking in the bios. But don't mess around with the settings to much..that might damage your computer ;)

According to my own experience, nVidia rocks. So I guess you'll have alot of fun with you new card ;)
