[FIXED] Display driver has stopped responding and has successfully recovered

Well, for the past few weeks, Ive been getting an error like the topic states.

Everytime I play COD4, after 5 minutes or so, the game freezes, goes black and comes back after 5-10 seconds, allowing me to play again. After getting out of the game when I have played enough, a little Yellow triangle is in the bottom right hand corner of my screen, saying "Display driver has stopped responding and has successfully recovered"

I also get textures out of place while playing. What i mean is small silver blocks covering my whole screen, which go away after the quick alt tab.

I dont know what the problem is, but it is affecting EVERY game i play, it has even started to affect Left 4 Dead.

My PC is:
Windows Vista home Premium SP1
Intel core 2 duo
2gig of ram
nvidia 8800gt

Well if nothing u know that problem is due to graphic card.. Check its temperature and voltage, because sometimes problem can cause cables of power supply..And that yellow triangle with exclamation point in the middle is mostly because of some dissolution of system. It was showing to me when i had problems with HDD..

think i fixed it....games were running at 92 degrees which was amazingly high...i dusted out the fan and stuff and tried again....gpu was at 59-63 degrees max...so im happy..

What i heard at my school is that the 8800 is not completely tested and is not compatible with everything.

my cpu is constant between 27 - 32 degrees :s

Now its around 24 ambient...and goes to around 50-60 while playing games, so its good news. When i saw it was 92 degrees, i couldn't believe it.
