Well my name is Arthur, and my nick is [AV]Watahell.
I know I have spent quite some time in this server, but most new players don't know me because I was inactive for a looong time.
People keep asking me: "Omg, how did you get ARPD rights so fast?" or "Omg, you have just arrived and you already bought a car and a house"
So if you want to know a bit more about me, I'm resuming my argonath story:
I was browsing MTA:VC servers, then I found argonath. I went there like any dmer does, I went to a cop (I think it was Frodo) and I was a Sailor, I asspulled an M4 and started shooting him. When I noticed, people were screaming "OMG dmer" on chat, I ran like hell from the whole police force. Then Frodo([R*]Yamaha) and Elrond([R*]Kojak) showed me around.
But they probably don't know it, because I had another nick, I'm making a huge effort to remember my old nick but I really don't remember. Then I heard NS Bio talking about SA:MP, I was curious, because I had played SA in PS2 before, but I didn't know there was a multiplayer mod out of it. I got SA and moved to SA:MP, when 0.2.1 had recently been implanted.
When I got in SA:MP, I already had some RP notions. My first freeze was by admin Razor_Sicilian, because I stole his car while he was AFK for a minute infront of LSPD. I got my passport in the same day I joined SA:MP, by MrClooak(and his pirate smiley .) )
After a week or so, I got my driving license from Legolas, but it was [AV]Johannes that gave me the test. He made me drive carefully on the avenue in downtown where there is the big ammunation. I remember I was scared of passing the traffic lights, I didn't know they were desynced. Johannes naturaly, laughed at my face.
A day or so after that, I
humped danced behind [Rstar]Petey, and he killed me because I was humping him, but he did it in an RP way, which I even found funny. After killing me, he gave me 5k to compensate the damage, but I couldn't enjoy them, because I got banned seconds later by Tony_Dragons. He thought that the money I got was from hacking. That ban cost me 2 weeks away from argonath, even though it was a mistake, and I didn't do anything wrong. It is one of the reasons I got the Unlucky medal. :P
After the unban I met Hayden, who told me about TCL, which I joined, and so did Claire, Stiffler, Emilio, Catmatic, MrEcks, cDa, CBFasi and more...
We had a great time, it was simply awesome and I still miss these days.
In 0.2.2, I joined ARPD as a cadet in LSPD, along with Iceboy, Pancher and Vu4eca(now known as [Rstar]Legend), and we were taught by Luca_Scalise and Hank_Rafferty. Some days later, I got my badge from Luca.
I got my second ban some months later, yet another mistake. I was in a car with [TCL]Stiff, and he decided to play a joke with me. He crashed his car on purpose against the fuel pumps in GS9, to kill me, but Aragorn was around. He thought I was the driver so he banned me instantly for deathmatching. Some minutes later however, Stiffler did a very honourable attitude, explaining to Aragorn it wasn't me, but himself that blew the pumps.
I couldn't stand to see my friend banned, and he had a forum warning that impossibilited him from posting his own request, so I requested it on his behalf, even though the admins didn't like the idea at all, but Stiffler sure deserved the unban.
After some months serving SAPD as officer and senior officer, I went to FBI. At the same time, I missed VC so I joined VC:MP. Amazed with the scripts and possibilities there, I decided to also play VC:MP regularily. After some time playing actively, I was given the chance by Mex and IceBoy to become an VC:MP moderator and later admin.
However, IRL problems were showing up. I had to study for an important exam, but I'm the real fool. I can't manage my time at all, so I had to choose either Argonath or my studies. I chose the studies, so I left the community and resigned from the admin team (which is something I really regret, and that if I had the opportunity again, I wouldn't do it. Don't resign, admins!!). I even blocked most players from my MSN account and gave lame excuses to people, saying that I was playing other games so people wouldn't ask me why did I leave. I know, I'm an idiot.
Now that I passed the exam, (next year I'll start high school and a techinical course in Eletronics, which is my dream, really) I'm back in the community, rejoined FBI and joined AV. The months I spent away from argo (6-9 months, I dunno exactly) seems like I woke up from a 10 years sleep, because everything is changed.
