Problems with ping and computer speed.

I got my room re-decorated a few days ago, and i moved my PC a meter or so away from its old spot. Since then, my PC has been running extremely slow, and when i try and connect to VCMP my ping is 1k plus, when it used to be 70-100 maximum.

Is there any way i can speed up my PC and reduce my ping, so that i can play on VCMP again? When i connect i timeout very quickly, and when i do not timeout i lag extremely badly.

You can upgrade your RAM, it speeds up your pc, But of course, other factors also play a role in your computer speed.

Try moving your computer onto your desk (if you have one), because the fans gets more air and therefore works better. And they don't collect so much dust as normal
