Do you have GTA:SA version 1.00??
If you have 1.01 or 2.00 then if you start SAMP, it loads SP.

Well, I quess i downgraded to 1.0, but i will check more cearful this time.

If your using Vista then set the compability of GTA SA.exe to windows XP SP2.
do this by

Locate GTA_SA.exe, right click on it and click on "properties', then navigate to the "Compability" tab and set to Windows XP SP2. Apply changes and close the window.

You may also try out a No-CD Patch, wich allows you to play without CD, these patches only work with the LEGAL version of GTA..

Vista?

If so:

Right click your SA:MP.exe file go onto properties. Then go onto the compatibility tab and change it to run in compatibility mode to Windows 2000 (I think..) - Do the same for your GTA-SA.exe file.

If it doesn't work with Windows 2000, try Windows 95 if not that, then try Windows Server 2003(I think it's called that).

That should fix it.

:ps: If it does work, no need to reward me :)
